ELSKA MAGAZINE IS A BI-MONTHLY MALE PHOTOGRAPHY, CULTURE AND TRAVEL BOOKAZINE. EACH ISSUE IS SHOT IN A DIFFERENT CITY WITH LOCAL BOYS AND LOCAL STORIES, CELEBRATING AUTHENTICITY, DIVERSITY, AND THE BEAUTY OF IMPERFECTION.

AS A BIT LIKE A GAY PIN-UP MAG WITH INTELLECT OR A SORT OF SEXY ANTHROPOLOGY JOURNAL, ELSKA IS PROVOCATIVE, AUTHENTIC, IMPERFECT ('COS PERFECT IS BORING), AND MADE WITH LOVE.

About Elska Mumbai (India):

Welcome to the second edition of our first Elska adventure in India, made in the iconic city of Mumbai. Originally our 10th issue, it is back by popular demand and has been remade from scratch by going into our original photo archives and re-selecting and re-editing everything, commissioning new translations and topping up with a fresh new cover.

Inside the new Elska Mumbai you'll get to know a dozen ordinary local Mumbaikars. We shot them in their city streets and in their homes, letting you really get up close and personal. Then, you'll get even closer with the addition of a dozen personal stories, written by each of the men on any topic of their choosing.

Some of the stories you'll read here include: Rehaan D's imagined series of coming-out letters to his grandmother; Saif G's ode to true love even when such love is doomed due to being of a different caste to his partner; Anzie V's tale of a typical night out at a gay party and the dissolution that more and more comes with such evenings; and Faraz A's scandalously vivid poem about his love of foreskins.

‘Elska Mumbai’ features eleven chapters, dedicated to the following local participants: Saif G, Prabhat P, Anzie V, Vinamra S, Aarash K, Sanky E, Faraz A, Namit K, S Arif, Inder N, Rehaan D, and Jahan B.
